For English teachers
Your next lesson
is already a masterpiece.
Choose a painting. Set your students' level. By the time your coffee is ready, so is everything you need: targeted vocabulary, speaking tasks, a levelled reading text, and a printable worksheet, built around that one artwork. Project it or print it. Then walk in and teach.
No credit card required.
Why teach English through art
A painting gives every
student the same world
to talk about.
The hardest part of a language lesson is creating a shared context. A masterpiece does it in one glance. Every student sees the same face, the same light, the same unspoken story. No one is left out because they skipped the homework.
Beginners describe what they see: a colour, a gesture, a face. Advanced learners analyse what it means: motive, mood, symbolism. The same artwork stretches to fit every level. You do not need five different handouts.
And because the context is visual, the words stick. A student does not forget the word "gaze" when they have spent ten minutes deciding where the woman in the portrait is looking.
How every lesson is built
Not a chatbot.
A method.
Every lesson follows the same arc a trained teacher would plan by hand: Look, then Discover, then Practise, then Create. Students meet the painting first, meet the words in context, practise the target language step by step, and finish by making something of their own. It is the shape of a good lesson, every time.
Each lesson is calibrated to your students' CEFR level, from A1 to C2. An A1 class points, circles, and says. A C2 class debates, infers, and writes. The timings are honest: a 45-minute lesson fills 45 minutes.
And every lesson is checked against a set of teaching principles before you see it. If one doesn't meet the standard, you never see it, and it never counts against your allowance. This isn't a chatbot in a lesson costume. It was built from eighteen years of real classrooms, and it behaves like it.
What you get
A complete lesson
from one painting.
Everything you need to teach tomorrow. Nothing you don't.
Targeted vocabulary
Words your students will actually use, anchored to the painting so they remember them. No random lists.
Speaking tasks that work
Information-gap activities and role-plays where the artwork provides the reason to talk. No awkward silences. No forced conversation.
A text worth reading
A reading text written for your exact CEFR level, about the exact painting on the screen. Pre-, while-, and post-reading tasks included.
Differentiated worksheets
A student sheet for every level. Beginners circle and label. Advanced learners analyse and argue. Print and go.
A plan you can read at a glance
Timing, learning goals, and a heads-up on where students might need help. Glance at it on your phone between classes.
Audio when you need it
Authentic listening scripts with natural speech. Play in class or let students scan the QR code on their printed sheet.
Who is behind this
Built by a teacher.
Not an AI company.
Artful English Studio began in a classroom, not a boardroom.
For nearly two decades, Hélène Konstantelou has taught English through drama, storytelling, art, and play. The teaching method came first. The technology came later.
Most educational platforms start with technology and ask teachers to adapt. Artful English Studio was built the other way around.
Every lesson is shaped by real classroom experience and informed by TESOL pedagogy. AI simply helps deliver it in seconds instead of hours.
Membership is intentionally limited to protect quality. When places are full, the waitlist opens.
